Funny Noise

Sound like that inlet ta turbo,common fault ,when Mondo gets on line he will explain in more detail[ if he ain't in Bobs car again]. . .

Erm! Er er! If it dunt make a noise when its not moving,and it int "leakin"??
Then I dunt know, you would have thought if were a hose it would still hiss at standstill or you would have a loss of poke or a bit o smoke even

Think it wer slob wi the hissing ac,.....But i cant see it bin in a hippo, him bin all hippophobic

Jerry, I'm female but not stupid! No its not aircon, its actually noisier with window shut, as when you stick you head outa da window at a ton, cant hear for the wind rush?
MONDO: yes finished nails, pmt,cooking cleaning etc. Cant give any other details, as nothing else happening, just makes da noise when she goes. But it does tend to go when up to 90, but I think the engine growning and shaking takes over then. Stress fracture, not me.

could be a vacuum hose or ya turbo air inlet pipes wiv a small hole, lift ya bonnet and get a helper ta rev her up see if ya can get a bit closer ta noise, if ya get no noise at all ,then your getting it when motor is in motion and that can be lots of other things . . .

Beckyb, I don't remember saying anything about being stupid, and what has being female got to do with it? Where it says "senior member" in my case it's true ( being 60 ) and help was all I was giving. Sometimes it's the silly things people overlook, eg "car won't start" and lo and behold when someone takes a look it's out of petrol or diesel. Sarkiness won't get you anywhere on this forum, pretty writing or not.

Am i missing something here, whats with all the stupid posts with everything abbreviated .

There are far to many posts in a lot of the threads with silly childish responses in, and all its doing is getting each individuals post count up and adding no value.

Come on guys keep it on topic and help where you can.

sorry if my jocular manor is upsetting you,but lets be fair, beccys initial post of a hissing noise could be down to any one of hundreds of reasons
It aint life or death, beccy isnt stranded in the middle of Iraq!
