funny noise from engine bay

Hi all , I have fust posted on the wrong forum i think applogies if this is on hear twice, i am new hear and need your help.my range rover has a funny noise after 2000 revs it sounds like a whistle type squeal sound but can't be heard when idleing it runs fine no over heating probs.please help:scratching_chin: It is a 4.0 p38

Does it only do it after the car has been started? If it does not happen after the car has warmed up then i would suggest it is the belt slipping on the altenator pulley.
