funny grinding/grumbling noise!!

hi guys my 300tdi disco has started to make a funny noise. It kinda sounds like my pads are grinding on my discs but there is new discs and pads all the way round and ive checked them and there is no grooves or score marks on them. ive had abit of advice from a couple ov people a pal said it could be the spigot bush???? would it make this noise?? it does make a funn noise sometimes when i let the clutch out then stops when i put the clutch pedal down. or some1 else said check the wheel bearings would they make that noise??? the noise seems to be coming from somewhere mid to rear ov vehical i think!!! please help as the noise is really annoying lol!!!!!!!

Have you checked the oil level in the axles recently??

hey matty... did you call round to my place last night?

if so we checked the u/j's. he has checked the axle fluids, and gearbox fluids..

its a disco with a pretty big lift.. got new prop on front after last one failed..

spigot bush is in the middle of fly wheel.. also called crankshaft bearing..
