When I got it, it was a pickup with a 10 gallon alloy fuel tank in the rear tub. It's a hybrid on a cut down RR chassis

Now I've put canvas hood back on it, was thinking of putting seats in the back.... But before I do this, wondered if anyone knew of MOT rules about having seats in the back when you're sat next to a fuel tank?

Because it's a RR chassis, what are my options for a "normal" fuel tank underneath?

Cheers all

plenty of lpg conversions stick the tank right behind the rear seats in hatchbacks and estates, iirc most xj saloons have their fuel tanks behind the rear seat, so there ought not to be a problem.

if the fuel tank goes up I don't think it will matter where your seat is :D

in plenty of series landies the driver is effectively sitting on the fuel tank
