Fuel tank guard

Hi

I have had a quick search on here but can't find the advice regarding a fuel tank guard.

Last year I'm sure I read a thread on here about someone trying to fit a fuel tank guard to a D1 and it hitting on the diff guard so couldn't be fitted.

Does anyone have any experience with fitting a fuel tank guard to a D1 ?
If so which one would you suggest ?
Any problems with fitting it with regards to the diff guard ?
