Could you let me know, I measure 30PSI on tick over and reduces to 26-28 PSI when revved up.

Thank you

What symptoms does it show - your fuel pressure is in the parish.

Hi,

When cold the motor runs straight up to 5500rpm easy but only for a couple of times then starts to cough and splutter at 4000rpm.

When hot only 2000/2250rpm can be reached will not progress further than that. When accelerator is floored going up an incline it just dies down with no power and have to release to stop stalling.

Also at this time the car will not go over 55mph.

Car has been serviced, new plugs, filters, oils, coolant and plugs.

The engine coolant temperature sensor has been changed for new one and a 2nd hand MAF. I broke the mesh on the original one.

I have electrical feed to MAF 12v and reading of 1.45v on tick over and rises when revved. Electrical resistance is the same on both MAF's.

When I first start it up it used smell of fuel quite bad, but recently this smell has not come back.

Oh, forgot to say, there are no faults registered on the snap-on diagnostic or the Land Rover T4 machine.

Frustrating because it goes really very well when not coughing and spluttering.

Got to get this sorted so it can get MOT.

Thanks for any help.
