i tried that first, they just said to check with the maufacturer... and all land rover will tell me if they even bother to answer is fit genuine parts

best way i to just suck it and see. electronically it will work. the dial is the right size so you will be able to mix and match between dial and landy sender at least.

I know since there a matched pair that they will be accurate but will the senders fit in the tank. I know the landy sensor has to be tapped around to seal theose ones have screw holes

the sender regardless of where you get it will send a voltage out relating to the level in the tank. if you had a race car where each lap required very precise monitoring of fuel. then i would recommend getting specific parts. however the 6v provided from the land rover sender for half a tank will still show half a tank on the new dial. for 20 quid off bay you will at least be able to do a bit of fault finding!
