bought a fuel filter for my td4 and thought i would fit it at the weekend.
removed the plastic tray from beneath the rear wheel arch - that holds the filter and pump, but there was fuel in the tray.
is it possible that the fuel pump could leak, it was bone dry?
also there is what looks like some sort of valve, this has an electrical connection and looks very rusty, is this some sort of solenoid. the black wire with a spade connector has come off the thing, where should this connect to?
i have the rave cd but it only covers the models with the pump under the so any help would be great
