On my 2000 Disco 2 my fuel door will not release automatically. The fuse looks good. What else do I check?

Try listening at the fuel filler for a little click when someone pokes the release button.

If it does click it's getting power, but no click probably means a leccy shortage.

Using a thin sharp blade you can work the locking pin back, but the plastic clip that holds the flap shut is very puny and easy to break. A wardrobe latch from B&Q would be better.

B&Q = the big DIY stores often found slightly out of town on big retail parks

your only excuse for not knowing that is if you dont live in the UK
