I have been reading the posts on the forum for a while now and have decided to go ahead with the front window repair, I have followed the steps to remove the motor and all has gone according to plan, but the problem with my window is the nylon gear that has a square in the back that fits onto the motor itself, it has split and wont drive the other nylon gear, can you buy these separate as it looks a lot cheaper than buying the whole mechanism, cheers, hope someone can help

Don't think you can.

Get a whole new regulator and cable assembly. Not too bad a price on Fleabay if you have a look.

As Creeeg says buy the complete regulator, about £30.
Cable kit around a tenner plus stress and no guarantee it will work.

Agreed. I've had a couple of cable kits snap after not too much time and they're gits to fit. Get the whole thing pre-assembled, all will be well :)

Cheers for your replies but it is pointless buying a complete regulator kit as it does not have the part in the kit that I need, I have just looked at every kit available on ebay and none of them have the part I require, they do have the round nylon part where the cables go into, but I need the male nylon drive that goes on the square motor drive itself, this fits into the female ring that you fit the cables too, the female part is in all the kits
