front seat and strange wires

Hello again everyone. Today, whilst adjusting the front passenger seat, I noticed two black wires, connected in parallel as one, running from somewhere under the seat and disappearing under the centre console. As this (these) wires were above the carpet, I can only assume they are after-market? Maybe something to do with the non-functioning PArrot system I have.

So, Intelligent Members, and that means everyone, as you would not be here otherwise, any thoughts ? And how difficult is it to remove the seat, considering the electric adjustment and heating. Will be spending a full week on servicing and repairing/replacing bits, so any help or advice would be greatfully acknowledged.

I think a photograph of two black wires terminating who knows where at one end and going to an unknown place at the other, is not going to be totally helpful. Or am i being cynical?

Don't think there would be much manufacturer fitted cable along the top of the carpets do you? Would have thought it was pretty obvious they are not standard fitment. One photo of a black wire is pretty much the same as any other photo of a black wire to be honest. Info that is needed is what they are connected to at either end. :D

Whilst I agree with most of the comments here, Senior members should remember that some of us, just as they were, are new members, inexperienced owners and grateful for any help. To be cynical is rather unfair and not very constructive. I guess it is easy when you know everything. Of course an original cable would not normally run across the carpets, but it may have been disturbed during some other work, so before I just rip it out, I wanted to know if anyone could have an idea of its function. Guess I will try somewhere else where help is not given at the price of being derided.

remember this poor guy is a Dr so when your in A & E having lost it completely and a nice Italian speaking Dr comes to help sort u both out u better put your wheelchairs in top gear and get the f*** away quickly !!!!!!!! he will remember u 2 HA HA HA :rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

You must learn to spell Mozz, it's DOGGERS not dodgers and I still have my Ruth.:D:D:D
 
Thought wirrall was a bit up market for dogging sites ????????? but im sure you know better !!!!!!! ho ho ho " pssst where are they ??????? " and yes you cant beat a good old ruth !!!!!! ,,,, wammers is unusally quiet today ????????? wonder if hes having his afternoon siesta at his age now he forgets he has to have a nap !!!!!!!!!

My dear Dr, I think I have the answer to your query. I have a feeling that the wires plug into yourself and activate your sense of humour. New or old members on this forum are open to derision, as was obvious when I made the comment in my first post. If you take the time to read it then you will realise that the ridicule was aimed at Saint and Hippo, both senior members and thick skinned. Try other forums by all means but speaking from experience you will not find one that gives better advice along with friendly banter. So, give your plug with the two black wires two asprins and if it's not better in the morning,take it to a garage. Would you like to give a second opinion Wammers? The difference between your profession and the motor trade is that you can bury your mistakes. I guess you see that I for one am not impressed with a title or letters after a name.:argue::D:D

Oh yes, I have been told there are some on the Wirral, but you do get a better class of perv here.:D:D. I'm sure wammers nurse will be waking him up soon for a bit of afternoon delight. He will be back on when he gets his breath back:D:D
