Front lights coming on under braking

Hi, iv noticed now that when I press the brakes the front lights come on, what would be causing this, which wires to check etc?

what vehicle? is it your headlights or just your sidelights?

On a defender 90, it's just the sidelights that come on.

rear loom rubbed through if rear side lights come on as well

could also be a rear light unit has come apart and is bridging across
