Can you use a friction reducer (molyslip etc) in the R380 or will it mess with the synchromesh?

If not will just stick with a good quality MTF94 lodexol.

Apologies if already covered, tapatalk search on the ithing is rubbish.

I would never put Molyslip in a gearbox. Specially anything with needle rollers involved. It makes them skid.

go to Ashcroft transmission site and they sell stuff for your transmission and they recommend using. And lucas is a fine product.

Think he is asking about anti friction additives not gearbox oils.:)

Appreciate the replies guys, yes what products, if any are suitable to add to the gearbox oil. Try and keep the box going for as long as possible!

Have 25 Ltrs of MTF already from morris lubes.
