Hello all
I very recently clipped a high kerb edge when taking a tight right hand corner.
Since then I am getting major clunking noises seemingly from the rear when turning and corner left or right. It sounds feels and sounds like it's broken a spline somewhere.
My garage has changed the RH drive axle and then the rear diff but it persists.
Has anyone had this kind of failure
One garage says it's the Haldex unit but another says it's the front transfer gearbox.
Any help will be most helpful
Thank you
Paul

There's a company called Bell Engineering who specialise in D2 haldex units and diffs.
Never used them but they get some good comments may be worth calling them.

Does it make any noises under hash braking?
Does it only make the noise when steering left/right violently or does is still do it when turning gently?

Has any of the suspension been checked for damage like bent arms and mounts? This is more likely than a drive train damage.
