Freelander v6 cooking issues

Hi new problem today for me replaced my expansion tank genuine landrover parts the first tank the cap would not sit on flush so landrover replaced it . Second tank has been fine it’s coming up to three months old and I. Priced today around the neck of the tank tiny cracks appearing imnsuffering a little coolant los and wonder if this could be the cause. Surly it’s not right a new expansion tank should start to crack ???. No overheating consistant temp between 106-109 degrees fans kick in and drops to 96 deg has anyone else experienced this tia

Yes it's common for the tanks to crack. See if you can get a replacement under LRs 2 year parts warranty. You can continue on your old thread, rather than starting afresh each time.
