Freelander v6 auto gearbox problem

Following advice taken from here regarding changing the oil in my freelander, I changed 4 litres of oil then drove about two miles up the road, wouldn't change gear above second, then I had the hill descent mode cut in, so stopped the car, switch off, then restarted. This happened a couple of times only when I went to start it again, I found that I had no forward gears at all, and have just had to reverse it two miles home!!! Please help!!

Did you get the error codes read? We need a bit more to go on. Selonoids testing might not be a bad idea.

You have a TD4 or KV6?

Was it working properly before you did anything , or was there a problem so you tried to fix by doing an oil change ?

yu did undo the correct filler plug? coz if yu didnt, yu can feck up the box.

I've changed several Jatco boxes after someone has undone the wrong plug.
