Freelander the most advanced Landy yet?

Hi My husband has just bought me a freelander and I think it is the most advanced Landrover yet .

Well the older models are so ugly and complicated but the freelander is smaller due to its advanced design.

A fl int complicated?Same 4x4 stystem as a range rover classic viscous coupling. and the k series injun is years old and went in tons of motors.Yes landrover have tried to compete in the soft roader market, but so have every other manfacturer.Its a saturated market.

I have lots of friends and my brother said this was a place that I could find out about landrovers

Welcome to the site anyway. You'll soon learn that being 'advanced' isn't always a good thing. Real Land Rovers have been the same for decades, and with good reason. If it ain't broke don't fix it!

The freelander is a car in its own right it is simple evolution.
All 4x4s are getting smaller and neater look at Suzuki jeeps.

Aye but those old flint axes are still usable 20,000 years after they were first created whilst a modern (advanced) rifle will be useless within a decade or so. You see modern design isn't always the best way forwards.

If my defender breaks I can fix it myself, usually quite cheaply. If (Sorry) When your gaylander breaks you won't be able to fix it and it will cost you a fortune. Not looking so good now is it.???
