Hi land rover community I'm in desperate need of your help, I have a y reg td4 freelander done about 125000 miles. Recently it's developed a minor oil leak I checked the forums and tracked it down to the crank case breather filter which I promptly changed but recently the oil leak has returned and is horrific, once the engine heats up there is oil gushing out of the bottom of the engine bay and I'm loosing oil up until the final notch on the dip stick which makes the leak not as bad. I've checked items such as the crank case breather, oil filter (which is about to be changed), sump plug, gear box etc. I do know that it's definitely oil and I've also noticed that it is on the drivers side only, I also noticed today oil flowing along an edge on the drivers side part of the engine it seemed to be coming front the front corner of the top of the engine and then flowing down onto the timing belt amongst other things. Please please can someone help as the whole reason I've got a land rover is so I can fix it myself and not put it in a garage. Thanks
