Freelander TD4 Auto Sports

Evening all, I own a 2006 TD$ Sports Auto. Can some kind sole tell me how to remove the circuit board (sports/manual mode selector switch) which is sited next to the gear selector shifter (under the centre / gear stick console) Mine is selecting sports mode intermittently and I suspect a dry solder joint, just need to remove it! Cant see anything in the RAVE manual

It will go into sport of it knows it's in D, and not moved to 4th or N, and realises it can't sense D. This is because the lever has moved away from the sensor when moving to sport. If you put it in sport yerself and move it out, does it always state it's then in D or 4th? If 4th it would suggest the lever position is incorrect and needs adjusted.
