Freelander soft top on the scrounge !

I am taking ownership of a soft top for my Freelander
It’s missing the two clamps for the rear
I was hoping someone might have them laying around getting in the way

Unless you know something I don’t?

Excellent idea

You can buy one side but unfortunately no one stocks the other side ?
I am casting the net farther afield and hopefully find them somewhere
It’s a shame as the roof is complete with window covers and red key and very good condition

Did you have any success? Having sold a complete roof 6 months ago with plans to get shot of my freelander, that freelander is now working beautifully and I can’t bear to get rid of it, so back to the roof, managed to pick up a soft top but no brackets.

@KatieMakes Wifey you need to update your profile photo! Thats the wrong freelander!!!!

I have two completely soft tops now both extremely good

I did yes not exactly cheap
And as luck happens I now have two completely soft tops minus the cover for both sides when folded up on one

the things we do for our cars eh! Is one of them spare then? With the clamps and everything? Might you be looking to sell it?

Hello - yes we are certainly interested! Please let us know how much you would be looking for.

We have managed to get the right hand clamp brand new from John Craddocks, we might be able to 3d print the left hand one which would be fun to try.

That would be great, how much are you looking for? Andy who has replied is my husband by the way

It’s a hard choice to make as what I do with it now
I basically have 3 soft backs
A complete and immaculate
B 8/10 with some bits missing and 1” stitch needs sewing at the bottom back pillar driver’s side
C 8/10 needs same stitch but only as two windows and one bracket
So I am in two minds as what to do

If I sell you the bracket I am stuck
