Freelander - Problem already!

My freelander has a very nice front end add on, I believe it cost £1500.

Overheating can cause some major problems as already posted further down the line.
The heads could have warped due to the heat, next thing your head gasket(s) fail and you will be adding water to the thing every day.

My advice would be to speak to the garage and tell them you want the car swapped, for it to have such a drastic failure after 100 miles the car by your own admittance hasnt had any pre-delivery checks they have obviously just sold it without even checking the oil how can you know they will do a good repair to the car ?

Speak to them firmly but fair, swap for another vehicle if its a Freelander get the TD4 or your money back. If none of the above i would then sell it privately straight away.

It not nice but they have sold you a lemon.
