Hi guys,
New to this forum so if ive put this in the wrong section apologies.

My dad has a '53 freelander td4 sport, I only use the car for towing my racecar.
But last few months ive noticed a juddering from the prop/rear shaft as if your driving over rubble strips. Only happens for a few seconds occasionally.
Done checks for vcu problems and nothing wrong there, ive noticed the rear left diff mount to have more play than the others so will be changing both rears, ive changed the centre one few years ago what a pain that was!
Would you say this rear mount could be the cause of the juddering?

Any places to get new mounts? Heard aftermarket ones are pretty naff but Land Rover want £80 each!

Thanks

Think you're in the wrong section...
My guess would be either worn VCU Bearings, or miss matched tyres.
I had a similiar issue and found that as the fronts were heavly worn and the rears no so the mis match caused the diffs to winde up causing a judder. The freebie is really sensitive to different tyre treads, makes and pressures i found.
