Hi all just after a bit of td4 advise.
My freelander seems to have a misfire (if that's correct). Certainly sounds that way. The engine starts and runs fine but upwards of 1500 rpm is seems to misfire and stutter its irregular and sometimes much worse than others. It doesn't stop the vehicle driving just a worrying issue. It is worst when the engine isn't under load and disappears when the throttle is shut. There is also a slight puff of blueish smoke following each stutter. I've just had the injectors serviced and one wasn't firing at idle. However there is no difference. I do know it has been remapped (could that cause this problem?)
Any advise would be fantastic I'm at a lose and I'm worried it'll breakdown or worse do considerable damage.
