heres something i'd like to share with anyone who has electric problems with thier freelander. the central locking refused to work and the engine was imobilised was told by local garage that key transponder was at fault and would need main dealer to sort it out at a cost of £400 to £600 !after picking myself up off the floor and much head scratching i had a brainwave why not try rebooting like a laptop, sure enough after disconnecting and reconnecting the battery every thing was back to normal, problem solved. Has anyone else found this to work

LandyZone does not tolerate such behaviour, and we will expect you to go to the main stealer say sorry, and hand over the money. After all, the credit was theirs for scaring the **** out of you so you tried the re-boot trick. So they should get your money.

I bet you rush off tomorrow and hand it over .... aye, right ...........
