Hi folks,

Some urgent advice needed before the matches come out:-

My 1998 Freelander shakes through all the gears, it appears to be coming from the off side front wheel.

I have replaced both driveshafts, track rod ends, discs and pads and bottom arm on this side and it has made no difference at all.

Today it has started clunking in that area, any advice asap would be fantastic.

Thanks Bella xx:)

Not looked in the manual so this is a wild stab in the dark but r there any bushes in that area ??? if so they could b worth investergateing.

Mine did that , turned out it was the anti roll bar bushes. a peice of pee to do the job 1 hour max, £10.00 for the parts from the main stealers.
no noise at all now from the car. quieter that a mouse.( In large boots)
Worth a look any way.
look at the antiroll bar and see if its touching the shocks on eather side. should be a bout 10 15mm clearance eather side. mine was touching the shock and making a wright racket. 3 differant garages missed this..... im not naming names but they were in st annes and have a "a" and a "t" and a "s" in the name and they all tried to sell me shocks or cv joints.

My mate at kwik fit on preston new rd spotted it when it was on the ramp.

saved me a small fortune... should of gone there in the first place.
