Hi
I am in the process of a tart up on my 56 sport
As anyone ever refurbished the driver’s seat? It’s leather and Alcantara the rest looks unused and is let down by wear and tear on my side

I am from west Cumbria with little to none specialist car trimmers so struggling with ideas to get the job done

also can anyone tell how to find the trim code for my car please

New seat trims come up on Ebay every now and then. Keep a look out for what comes up. It's possible to set up alerts from Ebay, so you get an email, when something you are after gets listed.

Ha I troll eBay for them including a swan neck tow bar .....
the problem is my location to far to travel for a seat and well eBay is eBay to buy unseen
I am at the moment thinking of a 5 door passenger seat and using the bottom part but not looked into feasible?
My own is not that bad but as the years are going by it will not belong until they have all gone

Can I throw acurveball suggestion at you, why not buy a full leather interior, then you can keep on top of the leather with leatherdye?

I was so close to getting a black V6 sport with excellent leather interior but the distance killed it for shipping
I will definitely keep options open

If I can get all the bits I need shipped to the other side of the planet, I'm sure you can get stuff shipped to the shires.

If you find a matching interior, get the passenger seat base shipped to you (drivers will likely be in as bad condition). You can then swap the cover on that for the cover on yours. Better still, see if they will remove the cover and ship the cover only.

It is a bit of a pig removing the covers and the passenger/drivers are slightly different, but once installed the only thing you notice is 2 holes on the inside side of the seat. You can cut some material from your old cover to lessen the appearance of the holes.

You only need the cover, and they do come up on Ebay. They're not big and normally come in original LR packaging.
There's a cover on Ebay at the moment for £30. Search for HAJ000681PUY, which appears to be a leather/ Alcantara seat back, although that would need checking.
