freelander 2002 td4 non starter

I am new to these diesel nightmares but yet again i have another problem.

The other day it died on me, reading the forum i took out and cleaned all the crap from the sender unit and put it back in without too much of a problem. i also invested in a new fuel filter, but it still wont fire up. can any one help me please.

hi, have you fitted a fuel pump? its where the fuel filter is and is a common problem as it cuts out. try turning the ignition on and listening for the pump running by the osr wheel arch, if you cant hear it then give it thump to see if it starts up. if you still cant hear it running then change it.
