Dunno about that, bit I'd assume you need a bit more than some buttons to install cruise control.

Yes you need to change the switch and get the configuration of the car updated to let it know it’s got cruise control

As td4van said. You don't need the whole wheel, just the CC switch panel. You then need to have the Car Configuration Files modified to make the CC work. This is a simple job with the correct programmer tool.
