Freelander 2 wiper problem

My freelander 2 has a wiper problem, they stop halfway up the screen and nothing will get them going again, I have to pull over switch off the ignition, wait 10 minutes and then they work again, anyone have any ideas ??

Hello Tony, I can't help you with your problem but my Freelander 2 is doing the same thing, there must be a control box somewhere but I haven't managed to find it yet , if I do I'll let you know

Are the hinges seizing on the wiper arms? So they are not flexing enough

Hi kev, problem solved now had a new wiper motor fitted but was still the same, garage did a diagnostic check and found the fault was still logged into the computer they cleared the computer of all faults and it's been fine since.
