Freelander 2 TD4 XS Auto 2008

Hi all,
Does anyone have a clue concerning a Whirring noise coming from under the rear of the above car which increases with road speed.
Any help appreciated

Could be rear diff, Haldex, wheel bearings. Sounds like it might be better to take it somewhere and get a proper diagnosis.

Thought you bought a Freelander 1 3 door ??

Yeah I have but it"s still having work done on it. I"m still interested in buying a Freelander2 and this one is cheap so I"ve got someone interested in buying my 2003 Serengeti TD4 Auto so if I might buy the Freelander 2, but only Might.

Hi again Andyfreelander,
The Mark 2 sales fell through, it went for more than I was prepared to pay on ebay. Hopefully I"m having the 3 door delivered this week,then I will look for a newer Mark 1 in the right colour because the one I"ve bought is a 2004 Sport 3 door but my wife hates the colour(Silver).
