Just posting up to see if I can sort my father’s Freelander 2. He’s 85 bless him so when it comes to electrickery he’s out of ideas (there again so am I!).
On start up, the sat nav screen will display the LR logo and then revert to the menu screen as is normal. But within a few seconds the screen will flash a few times and then go black. It will not do anything once that has happened, just stays black.
I don’t believe it’s the screen. I’ve checked all connections to the dvd drive, they’re secure. Is it the dvd drive itself at fault?
It’s an 11 plate car. Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you.
