hello

re freelander 2. for ages I have had a hollowish glocking noise from the rear passenger suspension, seems more pronounced first thing, been into dealership many times, guess what - they cant hear it. its not necessarily caused by large bumps or pot holes. it seems to be more on a series of small bumbs / uneven, in fact it was very pronounced in the icy hard snow in Januray. By the way what fantastic performance in the snow, so impressed. However this noise is so irritating. any ideas anyone.

Thanks

Is it most noticable going slowly over rough surfaces and slowly around tight corners?

There is a TSB relating to this and a click/creaking noise relating to the issue at the rear of the vehicle.

Yes. FL2 is a great car with a fantastic engine (not that easy to service though). Loads of torque and all the advantages of independent suspension.

Hi everyone, just hijacking this thread of 2 years ago,This is my first freelander 2 and I have the knocking noise on the rear, usually when turning left,Have Land rover done and mods yet for this problem? as I feel that it could lead to MOT failure .
