Hi Guys
Need help with headlights, i currently live in spain and need to change my headlights, i have bi xenon projector lens. can you just change the projector or do you have to buy a complete headlight unit?
I have some pictures below of the back of the light, their seems to be some kind of leaver, has this any relevance. see image with red arrow pointing to leaver.

Easiest option is to replace the whole headlight unit.

But ask in the Freelander section to be sure.

Welcome to the forum BTW.

I know he asked a long time ago but I have spent days searching for the answer to the same question. So here is the answer;

If you have Xenon headlamps. (Lift bonnet and look at label on the top of the headlamp unit - answer might be obvious from wording there).

Undo two bolts on top of head lamp assembly (10mm spanner), lift plastic catch to rear (all in the handbook).
Ease unit forward. Remove rear cover (two catches on top)
Find lever marked "UK" ( in the photo in the first post) Move lever to other position.
Re-assemble and do other headlight.
Voila ! you are now set for driving in Europe.

Took me ages to find that and almost spent a fortune on un-needed lights. (And my local dealer gave me wrong information).
