Freelander 2 2008 heater probs

Freelander 2 2008
have replaced matrix, thermostat, bled the system-it is intermittent cold/warm air (more cold than warm) temp guage sits at normal -half way
anyone got ideas what to do next?
 
A diagnostic read on the HVAC is the next thing to do.
It's probably a blender motor, but a diagnostic will tell you.
