Freelander 1997 1.9 Diesel Gearbox Oil top up

Hi,

Can anyone help and explain where the top up point is on a Freelander 1997 1.9 Diesel Gearbox. Do i need to be under the car or can i reach it under the bonnet ?

its a 2.0 litre - not 1.9 - wud that be the "L" series?

Its a XEDI if that makes any sense ? also its a 1998 and not 1997.
