Hi guys,

Anybody got any ideas why the FBH on my 2006 FL1 stays on even when it's warm out. I can drive it around for 20-30 mins and when I park and get out, it's blowing crazy. I've read somewhere that I need to take the fuse out to reset it!!! Any ideas??

If the FBH is running all the time, then the environmental sensor (a 5°C thermostat) has failed.

Pulling fuse 5 in the engine bay fuse box will shut it off, but the sensor will need replacement for it to work when it should.

Hi guys. can you help?

My FL td4, 2006 is giving me grief. Generally it's been really good but last year my servicer identified a problem with the electric pump (under the rear wheel arch) and replced it. It ran ok for months but was always really noisy - I found out since that it was a cheap replacement........

Over the last few months it has been playing up in that it is really difficult to start - fires up, then cuts out, fires up then cuts out, etc -sometimes a dozen times. When it does actiually start the car runs perfect.

My servicer is now saying it's the pump again. Looking at it today he said that once you turn the key to the pump should build up pressure and then cut out whilst mine just keeps on working (not cutting out). I cant remember that it ever cut out from the day it as fitted. So can anybody tell me what should be happening when I turn the key and has anybody experienced something like this themselves.

Any advice / suggestions would be very welcome.

Thanks,

B.E.
