Hi from lovely Cumbria. I have a Freelander 1 TD4 2006, which cut out on me the day before I was going on holiday in it, I managed to get an OEM fuel pump along with a new filter fitted that afternoon, but it made a very loud noise ( noisy as in bystanders turn round ). It ran perfectly but very noisy for the holiday. On my return I got another OEM pump but that was just the same. I have read about noisy pumps in other forums but all suggest replacing the pump which I have done already. I wondered if I had air in the system but all the connections back to the tank seem OK. I also wonder if it could be a collapsed pipe causing cavitation. Any suggestions would be gratefully received because its driving me crazy
