Hi all! I'm new in forum.i write from Rome, Italy. You are the last hope to revive my car  i will try to explain you the problem ; the car before stopping was running very bad, was running how jumping.... not normal but jumping, seems to be the fuel sometimes go and sometimes does'nt go. Finally it stopped and never start. I checked the fuel pump, the inertia switch and every fuse in and out the car. All ok. The fuel goes to the engine. So i taked off one spark plug and check if it receive current and so! the plug does'nt receive current ! I think can be the immobilizer? But i don't know how to check/bypass it. Can be other? I checked all the connectors inside the bonnet, cleaning it but nothing happen  Any suggest?? please reply! Best regards at all you!! :)

The immobiliser will be working okay if the starter motor is working. Is the engine turning over by ther starter motor?

If you're not getting current to the spark plugs, it may the distributer cap, rotor arm, or HT leads. Check these first as these are relatively cheap items to replace.

Thanks for reply! :) Yes the starter motor run perfectly! If you're not getting current to the spark plugs, it may the distributer cap, rotor arm, or HT leads ok , i will check this tomorrow! The rotor arm is inside the distributer cap?? and HT leads are the cables that connect the distributer cap to the plugs? sorry i don't understand well english!:5bcheers2:

The rotor arm is the small black T-shaped arm with a copper end located inside the distributor cap. These are all very simple to change and won't take very long, but ensure that you change the leads one at a time and get them in the correct order. This is a common fault, they should be changed fairly regularly.

Hello,,,this might help it has done for most..:D

News about my car : how you suggest, i checked the current on the coil and everythink ok, the current it's present 12v. So i taked one plug and i have connected it directly to the cable that go out from the coil and nothing happen, no spark. So i taked out the original cable from the coil, get a piece of wire, insert it into the coil and at the end of the wire connected the plug and now! spark! :) 1) Understand the the cable from the coil to the distributer cap it's faulty. Now i changed the faulty cable with a piece of wire and try. Nothing. The current finish into the distributor capand don't go out. I see into the distributor cap and see all broken contacts, the center very spoiled. The rotor arm end also spoiled. I decided to buy a new distributor cap, a new rotor arm and a new cable form coil to distributor cap. Today in the evening i will place it into the car and i will try to start. I will post the news later! suggest??

YEAHHHH!!! :clap2::clap2: the engine goes on!! i changed the distributor cap, the rotor arm and the cable from coil to distributor!! Finally all goes ok !! MANY MANY thanks to all your suggests, you helped me to solve the problem! :lvhug-035: i will return soon to post new small problem i need to close !! :5bcheers2:

"In Internet slang, a troll is someone who posts inflammatory, extraneous, or off-topic messages in an online community, such as an online discussion forum, chat room, or blog, with the primary intent of provoking other users into a desired emotional response"

Or LZ members who have the wit of a golf shoe... So many repeats on a daily basis, just so bored of it, sigh.
