We've got a few receiver hitches in stock...since the winch fits to the front, you can get a nice big shackle on the back of one

Tank in first order i think...
Look at ebay for second hand mantec tank guard. This is the only fabricator of tank guards for FL. New ones are obsolete now.

Or maybe SES88 bend some plates ?

Theres no Mantec tank guards on eBay? Unless you mean exhaust guard...which we make :D

Also Realbeal that's the sort of look I'm after but I seen your raised air intake, when it comes onto the roof it looks like it interfears with the sunroof ??[/QUOTE]

It's bee designed so the sunroof can still be opened.

WINU in cooperation with TC ? And LSD torsion diff ? Sorry if these are stupid questions !

TC -> Traction Control. An ABS feature, brakes down spinning wheels.
LSD Torsen Diff -> Differential with some locking abilities . Instead of standard open diff he can transfer some torque to opposite wheel with better traction. When used with TC system it works perfect as automatic locker (but no 100% locking)

Well just general off roading in fields wet ones at that ! Forestry stuff like that ! As far as recovery is concerned thinking of fitting a winch and hopefully that will get me out of any sticky situations

Wouldn't bother fitting a winch - if you want one get a portable one you can put in the boot and get out if you need it. You can attach it to either end then depending on which way's easiest out.

Or, I can also recommend a strong strop/tie down thingie - powered my broken SIII from the drive to round the back of the house recently using this (rather time consuming!) method.

Hi grumpygel cheers for the info. But to be honest i would like the winch both for practical use and for pure looks to be really honest

Ok guys have a quick question was talking to someone on this thread about a winch and all the info is now gone ??? Can anyone tell me what happened to it ?

Hi all I would just like to thank all you guys who chipped in with all the advice info and ideas !! Hopefully some time in the near future I will post some pics of my new work ! Cheers once again.

Fit the K&N air filter. I've noticed the Td4 isn't sluggish off the mark once I fitted that & the BMW cyclone oil separator.
Engine is breathing way better.
Next step is the RonBox chip.

Ok yea that sounds good ! Any more ideas ? Keep them coming. A stupid man is the one that fails to ask questions or looks for help !! That's my inspirational quote of the day :D
