Ok guys thanks for all the help so far !!! So WINU what have you to add to the mix ?
Also Realbeal that's the sort of look I'm after but I seen your raised air intake, when it comes onto the roof it looks like it interfears with the sunroof ??

Winu can add everything you want and more. Probably has the most modified hippo on here.

As for the advice on the lift kits cheers SES88 it gave me a lot to look at and where to go apologies for not getting back to you earlier !

Nothing serious. Just few items from nearest scrap yard. Some sewage pipes in my cabin and some plates from old french tank on my underbody. Oh, and somebody put more pipes probably from old tent on my roof :D

No wonder your car keeps breaking then ;)

Even if the raised intake fouls the sunroof, just cut it down if you really use the 15 degrees movement of the sunroof that much

As it happens, look on the back inside cover of this months LRM and you'll see his car!

Yip. Strange World. English car, modified by Polish guy, placed on English magazine :D:cool:

Buy new IRD,
Buy New VCU,
Buy new LSD ATB rear Diff,
Buy new propshaft
Buy new halfshafts
Fit a HD clutch
Fit a Lift,
Fit a big wheels,
Fit new better brakes,
Fit new Turbocharger,
Fit MBC,
Fit RonBOX or Synergy Box,
Fit some underbody protection,

Look at angry Disco 2 driver who crush their prop on hill, and your's freelander just drive on that hill on second gear :D

And most important thing:

Buy a good wax and polish it once a week - It must be shiny and proud... and of course it must have a proper BLING factor ;D

Well just general off roading in fields wet ones at that ! Forestry stuff like that ! As far as recovery is concerned thinking of fitting a winch and hopefully that will get me out of any sticky situations

Tank in first order i think...
Look at ebay for second hand mantec tank guard. This is the only fabricator of tank guards for FL. New ones are obsolete now.

Or maybe SES88 bend some plates ?

fitting a winch and hopefully that will get me out of any sticky situations
Lift and good tires in cooperation with TC do this. Next think about LSD torsen diff - works brilliant with TC. Winch is a last add on i think.
