Hi all, can anyone give me a definitive answer as to whether Bosch 807 aerotwin flat blade wipers will fit my D2 fr. wiper arms without any other bits needed ? (it has the blade retaining clip type arms, NOT the hook type).I've used these blades on my FL1 & find them brilliant.
The sellers on the bay of fleas give conflicting advice.
I see on here owners put D1 arms on for greater choice/cheaper blade replacement but I didn't want to go too the extra expense of replacing the arms at this time. Many thanks in advance.

hi bosch 807 is correct fit because of the shape of the screen other blades tend not to fit flush on screen

Thanks for that, I'm a bit confused as some of the bay of fleas sellers show a pic. of a hook type wiper arm whilst others have the same pic. but with a cross through it. I'll nip into my local Halfrauds & see if they have any 807s to look at. I've also seen 807-A & 807-2 advertised ! Don't make it easy do they. o_Oo_O

hi Andy never seen 807-A or-2 dont buy from halfords look for a local motorfactors near you or europarts ive just changed mine if remember correctly i think it a sliding lock onto arm

Hi, no I wasn't thinking of getting there I just wanted to check the fitting but I've looked at the website & it doesn't even list 807s. I'll nip to the local motor factors tomorrow, two to choose from & see if they stock them.

Andy, as far as Im aware, Bosch dont make an Aerotwin flexible single blade for the standard D2 arms. The only Bosch ones available for these arms are the 807 type, as I have listed. I've tried to find these before with no success.

Halfords now do some silicone blade ones, which are supposed to be wonderful but more expensive, has anyone tried them yet?

I replaced the ones on my transit for Bosch blades, very effective, and still working well after 3 years...

Fitted the new wipers today. Rear blade fitted, but had to remove the cover and adaptor. Much better wipe, and follows contour, but the blade itself obscures the water jet... Will look at that when its warmer. Bosch blades, well, the guy at Euro says there are no blades showing on his system that will fit. The 807's are very nice, much better sweep contour than the cheap ones I fitted last year.

Hi, you're right Bosch don't do flat blade wipers for the D2 so I got a set of the 807s which wipe the screen perfectly. I noticed yesterday that the arms didn't pivot very well so I soaked them overnight & they now pivot like new so the blades now have full contact on the screen. Thanks all.
