I have replaced the wiper blades, arms and spindles on my 99' defender 90 td5. However the arms keep falling off the spindles when I activate the wipers.
Is there a particular way/trick I need to consider when attaching the arms back onto the spindles?

Pics attached.

Push them on to the adaptor a bit harder. Or you might need to get new adaptors.

There is a point where the arm "clicks" into place. Bought some new spindle adaptors for my Ninety a while back, they were made of cheese:(.
Found some old ones in my box of bits, Series 2a type with the little bolt not grub screw. Much better.:D

The wiper arms should have a small metal spring clip on them that sits in the groove around the bottom of the spindle. Line them up with the splines then give them a whack on with a small hammer. Had one of mine that kept falling off and I ended up replacing the splined section of the spindles and then just tapping them on. Never had an issue since
