I own both a 300TDI disco, have owned a 90 V8 (carb'd) and a freelander V6, the V6 is 180 BHP standard and is a cracking engine.

not to be mistaken for the 1.8 K series thats a lump of rubbish!!!

I think that shows how little yu do know. The KV6 in a Hippoo is crap. It suffers the same if not more so, cooling related issues than the 1.8. Major cavitation problems and lack of cooling to the rear bank. The only thing it does "better" than the K is it blows two gaskets at a time rather than 1 :rolleyes:. Why do you think that most, if not all, the tuning peeps have given up on it.
 
They make a V6 freelander, I know someone who has a brand new one and it's pretty nippy. It's nothing compared to his new V8 5.5 550bhp Range rover vogue, though. The freelander is because his wife doesn't like to drive his Rangies :p
