Footwell lights

Hi i have got puddle lights in the doors, feet lights in the back but, none in the front got holes and small plugs.The plugs are white wi purple +red or brown wires/Now the question is (Drum roll) Does any one know if its the wright one.The lights i want to fit arnt standard,RR:doh:But there cool .thanks

tried that didnt work,trying cd root ,and it should be safe to run,computrer said no ,cheers

multimeter - set on dc voltage - connect to mystery wire - open and close door.
