Hi all

I have been kicking around here for about two months now, just reading up and getting a bit of information.

I am an archaeology student and over the summer, while on a dig a couple of friends took me green laning, which i have to say I throughly enjoyed.

I have been saving for a new car for a while and I think it is time to take the plunge. I would like a defender with a few extras, suspension lift, snorkel, underbody protection ect ect.

The defender will need to be suitable for pay and play green laning and off roading. Ride comfort/practicality is not of a great importance, as I plan to keep my current car for all the day to day stuff and the defender will be more of a "toy".

I found this on ebay and would like some learned peoples opinions on it. I am a bit dubious as it appears rather cheap (well 10k aint cheap but when compaired to defenders of a similar age)

is it a good buy? or would i be better buying something standard and then adding the kit i want? baring in mind i know very little when it comes to cars.
