there isnt one on the 300tdi as rear main oils seal gasket does the same job of sealing main bearing cap as 200 rear gasket does

normally unsealed but up to you ,perhaps if you go wading sealing it and bell housing would help

thin layer of grease between the 2 will help then from trying to stick together with age, dirt water. Anti seize on the bolt, studs,nuts

use the old ones with loctite

Have to be high strength and hardened for they don't shear off. special bolts, don't be cheap and use some other bolt that fits

they are special bolts in thread shank length plus high tensile ,but ive only ever reused the original bolts unless missing

Donkeys years ago did a clutch on an Austin Maxi
yeah rightreplaced all the flywheel bolts as they had been rounded when fitted previously
bought replacements from the main stealers high tensile shouldered
they all sheared after 4 miles running
, dealer reimbursed for bolts and replacement clutch and fitting, as they'd had a sub standard lot in...
