Flat spot

Hi all,
FL 1.8 has a flat spot. Engine runs fine, no probs whatsoever, except.....

If you floor the throttle from tickover, it immediatley tries to stall, and splutters a bit before it picks up. Its not a problem, cos in normal driving conditions it doesnt do it. Just from tickover.
Its always done it, and i'm curious as to why...

hi russell , not sure what it could be ,but to start with it might be an idea to try some fuel system cleaner,eg redex or alike. good luck,let us know how it goes tim

Hi, I'm having exactly the same problem.... I've changed fuel filter, rotar arm cap and lead plus plugs and even the throttle sensor but still does it...
Let me know if anyone gives you and answer....
