Eyup mate, was getting no readings off any fuses on that setting so i gave up and installed a secondhand disco 2 vdo pump, starts fine and can atleast hear the pump off ignition now, when i opened up old pump filters was covered in black gunk

Then you'll have to replace the injector copper washers too

How come the injector washers? I have got them incase, but i thought the symptoms of injector washers was rough running etc?

You can wait untill the symtoms appear but the gunk on the fuel pump's filter is caused by black combustion gas which leaked through the wahers into the fuel return rail

Ah right i get yeah, i thought it was crap out the diesel but yeah was like softish black tar
