when I first had mine a 2006hse auto with only 47,000 on the clock but they were all short journeys and hence the same as yours , I have since cleaned all the inlet out and changed the oil and all the filters that was 2 years ago and about three months ago it suddenly got up and went but I do not do a lot of mileage these days but it is not short journeys so it is paying of all that cleaning of the inlet system .I did notice the maf was clogged up so may be I will buy another one or try again cleaning it. believe me it is worth while

dont know if this may help

but had a problem like this a while ago and after removing all the inlet manifold etc found holes in my vaccuum hoses

in the pic the rh ones are just new vaccuum hoses ready to replace the old split ones

couldnt see them with the manifold fitted

hopefully may help someone one day

We're the symptoms similar to MAF failure?
It's certainly worth a look as I've got the egr blanking kit (stainless steel version) on its way, so while manifold off for that it's would be foolish not to check them now you've mentioned it.

Thanks

Turbo solenoid did the trick! Now drives much better,

Thanks for the assistance!

Hi Andy, following this thread as my Kandy is extremely slow at take off, low gear round a corner etc. Did the new solenoid really solve all this? Was it easy to fit? Many thanks.

Andy
