flashing lights.

hi peeps.
i have a light keeps flashing on the dash, it is next to the oil pressure warning light. the symbol is a themometer thing inside a `cog`.
my vehicle is an 1984 range rover classic, was a auto but has been changed to manual and has a transit lump put in.....

I have this light flashing too, I think it is the one to let you know that the coolant is low, but on mine it isnt working so that, along with the battery light makes for a real nice disco effect when driving at night.
Also worth noting, if you check the coolant level, make sure you do the cap up nice & tight, I was forever topping mine up!!

cool cheers for the reply. i have checked the water level, but it seemed ok.....
i just ignore it when it starts flashing.......
